The Winchester Wanderers will be playing all their home games again at Thornden School at 3pm.

Directions are given below in case memories are not as good with increasing age!!!

‘On M3 southbound, come off at Junction 12 (A335);
At top of slip road, take the first exit off the roundabout (follow sign to Nuffield Hospital);
at next mini roundabout, take first left again to go back over motorway;
at next mini roundabout, take first left again and go past hospital on left;
Thornden School is next set of buildings on the left
(Entry is by the second side road; first is exit)’

This information could be seen a thinly disguised bribe given my next paragraph!!!

I have to make a plea on the behalf of the Wanderers on the subject of game times. It would be greatly appreciated by us if you could put our away games with you in the afternoon (preferably not before 3pm). Our usual goalie, Ian Fraser, works on most Saturday mornings and his ‘outstanding’ deputy, Alan Darlington, now resides in the south of France and, for some reason, does not think he can be available on a regular basis!!!
